About The Position

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/ Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Manassas, VA. $5000.00 Sign on Bonus! In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. Basic Diesel Engine experience. Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred), Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution, Current relevant electrical certification, Locally valid driving permit, this position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
