We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/ Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Manassas, VA. Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus, Annual Tool & PPE Allowance, Pension & 401K and Stock Purchase Plan. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Completing repair activities on generators or components Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of service Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. Basic Diesel Engine experience. Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. Compensation and Benefits Base: Salary rate commensurate with experience. Experience: Basic level field service work experience, Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products, High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience, Customer service experience Qualifications Monday - Friday 7am-4pm with overtime and weekend work - A current valid license is required for this role - Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations - A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire - Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
