The Role: The Field Service Technician duties would include but not limited to field calibration work. Technician would also be required to receive training in-lab and in the field upon hiring. Technician would also on occasion be required to work in-lab when field work was not fully booked. This role will be based in our corporate office in Marietta, GA and will require up to 50% regional travel.

Requirements

• Experience in calibration of tensile and compression test machines, extensometers, Rockwell Hardness testers, Brinell Hardness testers, Micro and Macro Hardness Testers.
• Experience in with torque, pressure, surface plates, optical comparators, weight scales, micrometers, calipers, is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work around operating equipment and industrial environments
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to work up to 12 hours / day when required
• Ability to travel on Sunday on occasion to ensure work readiness for a Monday shift at a client site
• A clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
• Ability to travel via automobile or by air to reach our customer base
• Ability to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands and ATS schedule, 12-hour shifts when required and the availability to travel on Sundays occasionally to ensure Monday shift readiness
• Field Service Technician shall be able to be able to adapt to the ever-changing schedule with 24-hour notice.

Responsibilities

• Calibration of mechanical measuring and test equipment
• Maintain control over all assigned calibration equipment and signed out equipment from the field equipment locker.
