About The Position

Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with a mechanical background and the ability to lead a team to join our team as a Field Service Manager. This role requires a strong prior history in material handling equipment repair and service or a similar industry. Field Service Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch's Field Service Technicians ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are top of mind.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in equipment repair, service related or equipment industry.
• Minimum 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record
• Ability to use technical knowledge.
• Ability understand and oversee adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Having high aptitude and confidence in the use of technology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Initial hire requires passing of pre-employment background check, drug test, and driving record (for driving roles)

Nice To Haves

• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS AND TECHNICIANS pertaining to all Service needs and concerns.
• ENSURE THAT FIELD TECHNICIANS ARE PERFORMING AT THE HIGHEST STANDARD as it relates to safety practices, quality of work, and job proficiency.
• CREATE CONSISTENT SALES GROWTH being mindful of labor costs, discounting services, and maximizing gross profit.
