About The Position

Technifab Products designs, manufactures, installs, and supports cryogenic equipment for a wide range of applications in a number of industries, including the refinery, chemical, biopharmaceutical, and energy industries. www.craneco.com The Service Center manager is responsible for installation of flexible and rigid piping systems, with focus on cost management, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality. Job requires travel (50%), possibly on short notice. Must be able to attain results by working independently and leading the efforts of other employees JOB SUMMARY: Overall management, direction, coordination, and evaluation of the field service technicians. Responsibilities include safety, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; intellectual capital reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Interface with Global Business Line Managers, Applications Specialists, Field Sales, sales channels, and customers to determine technical needs to meet market requirements. Product validation, documentation, and successful execution. Manage raw material inventory and tooling for installations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management- Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence the organization and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD – Preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
  • Valid drivers license and ability to pull a trailer.
  • Cryogenic or Gas industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity of industry standards and specifications, such as ASME Section VIII and ASME B31.3 desired.
  • Aptitude for creativity and innovation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the fly.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, across all functions of the organization including customers and suppliers.
  • Strong presence, communication, and interpersonal skills and an ability to motivate and manage at all levels.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate technical reports, production documents, forecasts, and estimates.
