About The Position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Field Service Management Business Systems Analyst in Dublin, CA. We're looking for a Senior Functional Business Systems Analyst to lead initiatives that enhance our Field Service Management (FSM) capabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, scalable service operations as we modernize our technology landscape. Summary: In this role, you will act as the primary link between business stakeholders and IT, translating operational needs into system configurations that improve productivity, compliance, and customer experience. Experience with IFS Applications is strongly preferred, but expertise with other ERP or FSM platforms is welcome. This position offers the chance to work on a full IFS reimplementation and support our migration from on-premise systems to cloud. You'll design workflows for preventative maintenance, mobile workforce enablement, and dispatch operations-critical to our Facilities Service Group, which include construction, maintenance contracts, and retrofit services.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in ERP environments
  • Hands-on expertise configuring enterprise applications (IFS preferred; experience with other ERP/FSM systems acceptable)
  • Strong understanding of Field Service Management processes, including preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Break-fix and retrofit operations
  • Mobile workforce enablement
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid onsite model

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IFS Apps or similar ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with service operations in construction, maintenance contracts, and retrofits
  • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and ERP transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to analyze processes, document workflows, and identify optimization opportunities
  • Configure and maintain IFS FSM modules
  • Develop workflows for scheduling, job assignment, and reporting
  • Support planning for cloud migration and future system enhancements
  • Create documentation, ensure compliance, and provide user training
  • Act as a strategic advisor on ERP trends and FSM best practices
  • Adapt as technology evolves
