About The Position

The Field Service Intern will support field service training, training lab development, and technical documentation initiatives at the Ashland Avenue building in Green Bay. This on-site role provides hands-on experience with electrical and controls training environments, collaboration across multiple teams, and exposure to tools and processes that support field service operations.

Requirements

  • In process of degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to assemble both mechanical and electrical components according to prints and sketches.
  • Possess the written, verbal, and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively.
  • Possess basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMI’s, as well as AC and Servo Drives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with building and organizing the Electrical Training Room, including setup, layout, and supporting materials
  • Add captions to existing training videos using provided software; coordinate with the training team for video editing and transcript creation, then publish finalized content to SharePoint
  • Design and build a second lab board in the Accelerate Lab under guidance from engineering and training staff
  • Help develop an aptitude test for Electrical and Controls Technician candidates to support the interview process
  • Compile and help standardize a list of virtual machines (VMs) and software used across product lines; assist with initial VM creation and setup
  • Review, organize, and clean up SharePoint documentation to improve usability and overall effectiveness of Abacus (AI Search Tool)
