If you're a hands-on problem-solver with an eye for detail, a love for machinery, and a knack for customer service, keep reading. Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It) Be the hero on-site: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Makino machines at customer facilities. Train users like a pro and share your tech knowledge with customers who count on you. Bridge the gap between Makino and the customer — you're our front line and our friendly face. Document what you do like a detail-loving detective. Work with our Customer Support tech systems and lend your smarts to our Knowledge Products team. What You Bring to the Table A cool head under pressure and a professional, positive attitude. Sharp communication skills and a passion for great customer service. Strong electro-mechanical skills — think motors, drives, transformers, and machine magic. A tech-savvy mind with solid troubleshooting skills. A background in machine tool installation, maintenance, or repair? Even better. A valid driver’s license and readiness for regional travel (minimal overnights!). Your Street Cred 2-year technical degree in Electrical/Automation OR 1+ year hands-on experience in a related field. Manufacturing experience via internship, co-op, or job? Big plus. Why Makino?
