About The Position

Field Service Coordinator Location: USA Are you passionate about Electrical Engineering? Are you an Electrical/Controls Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Partner with the best: Join the Baker Hughes – BRUSH Power Generation Team as a Field Service Coordinator, supporting the coordination and deployment of our Field Service operations across the Americas. You will play a key role in ensuring our manpower, scheduling, and project readiness align with business and customer needs. As an Americas Field Service Winding Engineer, you will be responsible for: Maintain and update the Field Service Schedule, ensuring mobilization and demobilization dates align with quotations and project timelines. Coordinate manpower allocation to all active and upcoming projects for optimal utilization. Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments to confirm manpower requests and site requirements are met. Identify internal and external resource gaps, first consulting regional or European Field Service teams, and then subcontractors as needed. Work with Project Managers to ensure visas, site access, safety trainings, and compliance requirements are fulfilled before mobilization. Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and Field Service Management to assist with daily operations and new hire onboarding. Support the Field Service Manager during absences, acting as deputy to maintain operational continuity. Track, monitor, and report Field Service project status, utilization, and manpower forecasts weekly. Collaborate with HSE and Compliance teams to maintain corporate safety standards and personnel qualifications. Assist in forecasting manpower demand for upcoming outages and inspections. Maintain coordination between Sales, Project Management, Logistics, and Engineering teams for smooth handover and execution. Support FSEs during execution by resolving logistical or administrative issues. Maintain internal records and documentation related to personnel assignments and job tracking systems (Workday, SharePoint, Etc). Promote BRUSH/Baker Hughes values, professionalism, and customer focus in all interactions. Fuel Your Passion: To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience in Field Service operations. 3–5 years of experience in field service coordination, scheduling, or manpower planning. Knowledge of generator or rotating equipment services preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams). Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle or SAP preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills across multiple departments and time zones. Strong customer service skills. Fluency in English required, Portuguese or Spanish a plus. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience in Field Service operations.
