About The Position

Communicate with customers to determine work scope. Generate customer quotes. Create quotes, customer/work orders, and tasks in Caltrol’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Schedule field service technicians. Communicate and coordinate with technicians during service engagements to understand work scope changes and how scheduling and costs are impacted. Process change orders. Documentation control. Track and account for all time and materials. Order and procurement of materials and parts, expediting parts when necessary. Prepare jobs for invoicing once complete.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to learn repair and service processes related to Caltrol and Emerson’s capabilities and policies.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a dedication to customer service excellence.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, business systems).
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills – both written and verbal.
  • Good teamwork – identifies with the team and its goals and contributes to the group's effectiveness.
  • Good problem-solving skills - ability to identify problems, implement appropriate solutions, and recognize when assistance is needed.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
  • Someone who is motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
