Requirements

  • BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a related engineering position
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%–70%
  • PLC: Allen Bradley (Logix/Studio 5000), Siemens (Step 7, TIA Portal)
  • HMI: Allen Bradley, Siemens
  • Robotics: Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa, Epson, Denso, Staubli
  • Networking: Ethernet, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, CC-Link, IO-Link
  • Motion Control: Allen Bradley, Siemens, IAI, etc.
  • Vision Systems: Cognex, Keyence

Nice To Haves

  • PLC: Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider
  • HMI: Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Proface
  • Testing/Monitoring: Force (Kistler, SigPOD), Leak Testing (CTS, Cosmo, etc.)
  • Database Tools: Ignition, FTTM, SQL

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical drawings and bills of material using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Develop advanced control programs for machines and automated devices
  • Perform electrical testing using voltmeters, ammeters, and related tools
  • Apply proper wiring practices to ensure system safety, reliability, and compliance
  • Design ladder logic and machine control systems with strong proficiency in relevant software platforms
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define machine performance and functional requirements
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic components
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to strengthen overall team capability
