In this position... Technical Program Coordinator operating within the Service Engineering & Operations (SE&O) Global Service Excellence and Strategy Organization. The Technical Program Coordinator provides essential coordination and leadership support for the FCSD TPM Team within the Service Engineering & Operations team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of complex projects related to FSA Software Validation, Remedy Software Audits, and other strategic initiatives. The Coordinator will play a key role in managing project timelines, facilitating communication across cross-functional teams, and assisting in the early identification and resolution of issues, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar discipline.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple dynamic priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and liaise with various internal departments (SEO, Engineering, Marketing) and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities to collect, organize, and interpret data to support decision-making and project execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to self-manage, be a proactive team player, and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and comfortably work in "white space" or support the development of new processes.
  • Experience in a project coordination, administrative support, or similar role, preferably within a technical or automotive context.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Proficiency with Jira or similar project management and issue tracking tools.
  • Experience or a firm understanding of automotive service repair processes or dealership operations.
  • Experience and confidence in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Technical Program Managers in the successful delivery and tracking of FSA Software Validation efforts for Service Engineering Operations and Ford Customer Service Division.
  • Support the coordination and tracking of FSA Remedy Software Audits, ensuring all steps are followed and documented.
  • Supervise coordination of project schedules, timelines, and deliverables, proactively following up with stakeholders to ensure adherence to project plans and timely completion of tasks.
  • Facilitate communication and information flow between Technical Program Managers, cross-functional teams, technical leads, suppliers, and other relevant internal and external partners.
  • Support the collection, organization, and preliminary analysis of project-related data to aid in decision-making and project execution.
  • Assist in the early identification of potential issues, risks, and roadblocks, escalating them to Technical Program Managers as necessary.
  • Support the development and tracking of action plans for top issues or emerging concerns.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing project documentation.
  • Contribute to championing the voice of the dealer and customer by assisting in gathering and compiling relevant feedback and data.
  • Manage and support special projects and high-priority items as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and initiative in dynamic environments.
