About The Position

The Field Sales Representative is responsible for sales and business development in the Western U.S. for Company’s Industrial/Commercial and Aviation Product Lines, including new business/market identification and growing existing customers. Duties and Responsibilities: Generate opportunities through the development of relationships with End-Users, Dealers, Contractors, and Architects. Support local Dealer/Installers with pricing, consultation, remote or onsite technical assistance, site inspections, and product education. Develop and train new dealers on products and services. Read and Interpret technical documents, including construction documents and specifications Create proposals and quotations using ERP software, excel, and other provided tools. Develop scope of work and specifications to meet customer’s requirements. Research, forecast, and effectively communicate sales activity to sales managers and team, utilizing input from historical data, regional customers, dealers, and databases. Requires travel to support local dealers, educate architects and end-users, visit job sites, trade shows/events, and attend training/meetings at corporate offices. Approximately 60% travel. Advise marketing department on the development of campaigns targeting key markets/customers within the region. Assist in resolving customer conflict and non-conformance of product in the field. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction or technology industry
  • Requires travel to support local dealers, educate architects and end-users, visit job sites, trade shows/events, and attend training/meetings at corporate offices. Approximately 60% travel.
