About The Position

A Field Safety Representative oversees making sure that employees follow health and safety regulations and supervising operations to promote the wellbeing of their team. Their duties include 75% Site visits to rig sites to oversee safety and compliance and 25% office in our WTX location. The right candidate will work closely with field personnel to eliminate workplace hazards, documenting accidents in the workplace and investigating the circumstances of an illness or injury. In addition, the following tasks and responsibilities will be included.

• Willing to work a 20/10 rotation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for necessary safety training to include PEC, H2S, Forklift, and all necessary customer requirements.
• Oversee ongoing operations on rig/client locations to ensure continued compliance and safe work practices are being followed.
• Oversee local SSE's and manage the company’s mentor program.
• Maintain, inspect, and order safety supplies as needed for personnel.
• Audit field personnel and review JSA's and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Advise the company's Safety Manager on safety issues and recommendations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and work toward our goal of zero incidents/accidents.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and promote participation among all employees.
