About The Position

Rexa is seeking a Field Product Demonstration Driver to join our team. The incumbent will support REXA’s Sales and Marketing efforts by operating the REXA Demo Trailer. This individual will travel extensively throughout North America for extended periods following itineraries and schedules set by our direct sales and channel partner personnel. The schedule generally follows a 4-5-week traveling / 1-week stationary rotation, but is dynamic. During off-the-road periods , the role includes support duties at the REXA Gulf Coast facility. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate who is interested in sales, field service, or engineering in the industrial manufacturing sector.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Class D driver’s license required.
  • Pr evious work experience as a truck driver desirable .
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Well-educated and informed of both road and safety regulations.
  • Must submit to a DOT driver background check and obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate prior to travel.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) prior to travel.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Willingness and availability to travel for extended periods of time.
  • Strong organization , communication , and interpersonal skills; verbal and written.
  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving

  • College Degree in Marketing or Sales preferred .

Responsibilities

  • Safely d rive and operate the REXA D emo T railer throughout North America
  • Maintain accurate driver hour logs per DOT requirements.
  • Be responsible for and adhere to all aspects of Department of Transportation ( DOT ) compliance, including hours of service, inspections, documentation , and safety-related protocols.
  • Ensure that all safety and maintenance functions are performed on time for the Demo Truck & Trailer to remain operable.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of truck, trailer, and all demonstration equipment and ensuring they are in optimal condition at all times. Interior: Cleaned thoroughly once per week. Exterior: Cleaned thoroughly every 3 weeks.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of the truck , trailer , and demo equipment to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs .
  • Organize all work-related expenses and report them with documentation on a monthly
  • Arrive on time to scheduled accounts and ensure all attendees sign-in to the Demo Trailer
  • Proactively communicate with sales team members about visitation timelines to ensure all parties are in alignment on meet-up, start, and end times.
  • Proactively communicate with Marketing Events Manager to report stock levels of marketing materials and ensure seamless execution of roadshow
  • Set-up and break-down all equipment and marketing material efficiently and safely at each event.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent the REXA brand professionally at all times.
  • During periods of downtime off-the-road, the individual assists with tasks around REXA Gulf Coast, including but not limited to actuator maintenance and repairs, and other various shop activities.
