About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Field Planning Engineer to join our Data Center Projects Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of our client site in New Albany, OH. YOUR ROLE Support the Planner with Last Planner System tasks. Support the Planner with determining component counts. Manage the visual management process for their assigned area of work (set up visuals, monitor and communicate) Monitor progress and highlight constraints or opportunities to planner. Collect daily field progress incl. component counts and resources, and feed updates to schedulers. Collaborate with site superintendents, the planner and the scheduling team to ensure effective integration of tasks, communicating potential impacts/constraints and opportunities. Monitor implemented processes for continuous improvement, and communicate gaps or opportunities to relevant stakeholders for action. ABOUT YOU EDUCATION: Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited college/university EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field. SPECIAL SKILLS: Effective communicator with proven people skills Critical thinker who is able to identify issues, opportunities and convey them effectively. Familiar with and capable of using technology such as Windows Office Suite, incl. Requirements
