Job Summary: The Field Operations Trainer partners closely with Operations, HR, and Learning & Development to deliver field-based training, certify restaurant leaders, and reinforce operational excellence. This role supports company restaurant performance by executing training programs, validating certification readiness, and coaching restaurant teams on leadership and systems compliance. The Field Operations Trainer is a hands-on operator and facilitator who ensures consistency, quality, and alignment with company training standards across all assigned markets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of QSR management or training experience within company-operated markets.
  • Proven ability to deliver and facilitate structured training programs and certification processes.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and operational leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze training data and drive improvement through coaching and follow-up.
  • ServSafe certification (required).
  • Ability to travel up to 70–80% across assigned markets.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver all core company training programs including Foundations of Shift Management, Leadership Development, Gold Standard Service (GSS), and ServSafe certification programs.
  • Facilitate and evaluate ad hoc and operational training sessions that directly impact restaurant execution, including new technologies, equipment, and operational updates.
  • Ensure successful implementation of LTO training by verifying Learn Plan completion, team member training compliance, and in-restaurant execution standards.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to address performance gaps through targeted training and coaching interventions.
  • Provide in-restaurant coaching on guest experience, food safety, and system compliance to reinforce operational excellence.
  • Support certification processes for Restaurant General Managers (RGMs), Shift Leaders, and Certified Training Restaurants (CTRs).
  • Conduct certification evaluations and ensure alignment with Burger King Company (BKC) standards.
  • Partner with the Team Lead to identify and prepare high-potential leaders for advancement through structured training programs.
  • Participate in certification audits, readiness assessments, and validation visits across assigned markets.
  • Provide feedback to the Team Lead regarding program effectiveness, training gaps, and recommended improvements.
  • Participate in pilot programs and support the rollout of new training tools or learning technologies.
  • Assist in maintaining training documentation, records, and program compliance for all assigned restaurants.
  • Promote continuous learning and skill development across restaurant teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of certifications, training completion, and field coaching visits.
  • Report training progress and outcomes to the Team Lead – Field Operations Training (Company Restaurants).
  • Assist with data collection for training KPIs, including certification rates, operational performance improvement, and retention metrics.
  • Ensure all training activity aligns with company training standards and audit expectations.
