About The Position

Responsible for supporting Tower Operations objectives, to include annual tower
& rooftop inspections, manage outsourced preventative and remedial maintenance &
repairs, maintain tower lighting and troubleshooting, perform general compound
and grounds repairs/upkeep, installation/ integration of Crown network hardware
and interconnect facilities. Other responsibilities may include maintaining and
repairing all MAS, DAS and other Crown owned assets or network components;
performs audits as required by local, District, Area, Corporate or Regulatory
agencies. Responsible for the integrity of tower data within CCISites and
maintaining site condition to Crown standards. Responsible for ticket management
and appropriate management and spend of allocated budgets.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• 0 - 2 Two (2) or more years of experience in one or more of the following fields: telecommunications, remote field wireless technician, remote field technician Required
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State

• two-year technical degree Associate’s Degree (AA) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure structural integrity and compliance for all assigned assets in accordance with Crown Quality Assurance programs and Site Condition Standards.
• Perform periodic inspections in accordance with company policies, contractual obligations, and standards & procedures. Identify and ensure that major inspection discrepancies are properly documented and corrected in a timely manner.
• Responsible for site data configuration accuracy.
• Work effectively with internal/external partners and customers
• Respond quickly and effectively to resolve NOTAM, monitoring system and tower lighting issues in accordance with company established policies, standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation, ticket management and records for all projects & site issues.
• Project manage site repairs when necessary.
• Manage vendors and bid process
• Manage materials, tools and assigned vehicle is accordance with Fleet policy.
• Provide immediate Operational response for safety, emergency and incident response situations.
• Serve as onsite Crown representative to include but not limited to Customers, Landlords and Vendors
• Knowledge and ability to safely operate various test equipment, power/hand tools & equipment
• Works at varying tower locations from rooftop sites, dense metro areas to remote mountain tops site
• Oversight of field related projects, and general contractors. Perform site repairs and maintenance as needed in accordance with our Site Condition Standards, including but not limited to HVAC maintenance, fence repair, lighting system maintenance, grounding, etc.
