About The Position

Griswold Home Care of Raleigh/Apex is hiring a Field Operations Manager to help run the front-of-house execution of our home care business. This is a hands-on, in-market leadership role focused on client relationships, caregiver onboarding, scheduling execution, and in-home assessments . You will work closely with senior leadership and backend operations to ensure care is delivered smoothly, consistently, and professionally. This role is ideal for someone who wants real responsibility , is comfortable learning the core mechanics of the business, and is motivated by earning greater scope and compensation through performance — not tenure. This is not an administrative role and not a guaranteed promotion path. It is a proving ground for future operational leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, senior living, or operations is helpful — but judgment, communication skills, and learning speed matter more.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and support caregiver and client scheduling to ensure coverage and continuity of care
  • Solve day-of scheduling challenges, including call-outs and urgent changes
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with caregivers and families
  • Partner with Care Operations and leadership to understand priorities and trade-offs
  • Conduct in-home assessments and client check-ins
  • Build trust with families and confidently guide next steps
  • Address common concerns such as resistance, uncertainty, and timing
  • Protect client hours through proactive communication and follow-up
  • Interview, hire, and onboard caregivers
  • Lead caregiver orientations and set expectations
  • Serve as a field-level resource for caregivers once placed
  • Handle escalated client and caregiver situations
  • Participate in inbound sales calls and follow-up conversations
  • Take on increasing decision-making responsibility as trust and competence are demonstrated
  • Contribute ideas to improve systems, communication, and care delivery
