As a Manager, Field Operations at RXO, you’ll manage all aspects of the third-party operations on behalf of the Customer and serve as a liaison and main point of contact between the customer and third-party carrier. What your day-to-day will look like: Responsible for leading carrier management to establish countermeasures and improvement plans to ensure customer KPI’s are achieved and executed. Follow up with carrier regarding progress being made to these countermeasures. Monitor, track and evaluate carrier performance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / metrics Lead on-site carrier activities to include 24 by 5 coverage for all issues not limited to natural disasters, operation shutdowns, business continuity plans, etc Create and maintain standardized work procedures for activities on behalf of the customer that the 3PL is required to follow Work with the customer to establish strategies for continuous improvement of the operations and cost reduction activities Manage customer budget to include weekly invoice submission for validity and first level approval of invoices

Requirements

  • 5 years of Logistics or transportation experience
  • Strong Fluency of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) in a related Field
  • Demonstrated group presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
  • Experience in the automotive industry
