About The Position

Schindler Elevator Corporation is seeking a highly motivated intern to assist our Field Operations team supporting Miami-Dade International Airport. Partnering with local Sales Representatives, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents, this intern will be responsible for the following:

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably with a concentration in Project Management, Data, Business, or technical field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; competitive spirit, ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications – specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, Teams and DocuSign.
• Self-motivated, strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Join team members on jobsite surveys to assist in data gathering and recording, as well and organizing pictures, notes in job folders
• Organizing and consolidating submittal packages
• Drawings, Purchase Order requisitions schedules
• Collecting and organizing customer, vendor meeting minutes
• Safety equipment ordering
• Customer meeting packet preparation (printing out of meeting minutes, latest schedule, open drawings to be approved, etc.).
• Assist in creating template for recoding status of all rigging equipment (location and certification date, monthly technician/adjuster CADI update status)
