About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser for Hallmark, you will operate independently, leveraging your organizational and time management skills to manage product displays and foster relationships with retailers. You will be the direct representative of Hallmark in various retail environments, including grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. Your role involves collaborating with local store teams to ensure optimal product placement and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Additionally, you will assist fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. There may also be opportunities to work with products from other companies within the stores you service.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Use technology for day-to-day work, communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
  • Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Work additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following major holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
  • Be required to work on actual holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day) and weekends during holiday periods.
  • Participate in department resets, which may include building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
  • Support other team members in their territories as needed.
