The Jewelry Group (formerly known as Nine West Jewelry Group) is seeking a part time Merchandise Coordinator (20 hours a week) based in the Inland Empire area of Southern CA (stores include the Macy’s at Victoria Gardens, Brea and Montclair as well as various Kohl’s in the area). The Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for servicing the following Jewelry Group brands: Givenchy, Marchesa, Lauren, DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld, Anne Klein, Lonna & Lilly, Napier, Simply Vera, Nine West and You’re Invited.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous retail and/or merchandising experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all brands are merchandised and presented properly by classification, key trends, and lifestyle
  • Organize stock by color, style, and price
  • Ensure that all promotional and markdown events are executed correctly at store level
  • Develop strong relationships in stores with associates and all levels of management
  • Communicate trends, product knowledge, and selling information to the stores
  • Prioritize developing partnerships with store management in order to negotiate prime locations, additional capacity, and communicate stock call outs
  • Report issues and concerns with Regional Manager
  • Complete store recaps, time sheets, and expense reports
