About The Position

1 Resource Group is seeking a dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of various types of heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic working with heavy equipment and diesel engines.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on diesel and gasoline engines.
Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, and adjustments on heavy machinery, trucks, and other equipment.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and make necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical malfunctions.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist in parts inventory management and ordering as needed.
