About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Field Marketing Specialist to oversee marketing with Manoa Dining Services - University of Hawai'i at Mānoa , located in Honolulu, HI . The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is a world-class university providing affordable, quality higher education to the people of Hawaiʻi and conducting pioneering research to address critical issues facing the state. This role supports marketing initiatives to drive meal plan and retail sales while promoting health, wellness, and sustainability. Some responsibilities include implementing Sodexo programs, analyzing market data, managing surveys, merchandising, pricing, and supervising student interns. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Requirements

• strong marketing background and writing skills
• strategic leadership, talent management, as well as exceptional communication and project management skills
• strong computer skills, with a preference for experience with Scala
• best in class presentation skills, with extensive PowerPoint experience
• client relationship skills and the ability to quickly respond to client and management needs
• the ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload
• Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years

Nice To Haves

• contract food services experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all field marketing activities throughout the campus
• Identify internal/external customer needs and expectations
• Educate and develop rapport with internal/external customers with a special emphasis on building a partnership with our client and our client's marketing team
• Maintain marketing information on intranet, company, and/or client websites
• Create monthly marketing calendars and host events to engage student and employee participation
• Coordinate all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
