About The Position

The Field Marketing Manager at Verizon is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving store traffic for Total Wireless in prioritized local markets. This role will initially focus on the Total Wireless brand, with plans to expand to other brands in the portfolio. The manager will act as the primary marketing expert, collaborating with various stakeholders to implement community-focused initiatives and creative marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement and brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience in marketing or related fields.
  • Willingness to travel locally, 50-75% of the time.

  • Five years or more of directly applicable marketing experience, preferably in the industry.
  • Professional marketing background with local or field marketing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and store traffic.
  • Act as the primary marketing expert within local markets, utilizing demographic and brand position information.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand success.
  • Engage target customers through community-focused initiatives and partnerships.
  • Identify ways to boost store traffic and awareness through local marketing initiatives.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with dealer owner operators and master agent partners.
  • Identify and support focused events that align with the Total Wireless marketing vision.
  • Collaborate with the retail experience team to develop tailored marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities and coordinate activation strategies for local events.
  • Develop and maintain the field marketing toolkit for market activities and co-op governance.
  • Present event proposals and execute events within budget constraints.
  • Track and manage budget for local brand efforts and co-op spending.
