We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Foreman with experience in pipe layout and pipe welding to lead on-site teams in executing high-quality industrial projects with safety, precision, and professionalism. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations related to welding, rigging, millwright, and other mechanical installation tasks. You’ll work on a variety of structures including alloyed frameworks, piping systems, vessels, and steel assemblies, ensuring projects are completed on time and to exacting standards. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on industrial experience in a similar role.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Advanced skills in field measuring, layout, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of crane safety protocols and signaling procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate vehicles and trailers up to 26,000 lbs GVW combined.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other construction equipment.
  • Willingness to travel, and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in every aspect of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations for installation and mechanical contracting projects.
  • Perform and oversee tasks such as pipe welding/layout, rigging, millwright work, and equipment setup.
  • Work confidently at heights, in confined spaces, and under various site conditions.
  • Operate material handling equipment, powered tools, and vehicles as required.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and successful project completion.
  • Plan and manage daily and weekly work schedules for jobsite teams.
  • Train and guide Field Industrial Technicians, promoting continuous skill development and safety.
  • Accurately track team time and attendance and manage material/equipment procurement in line with company processes.
