The Field Food Specialist role involves supervising training and educating store teams on current and new product offerings, with a strong emphasis on Food Safety and Quality Assurance to ensure FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met. This position oversees new store start-ups and remodels for Foodservice, addresses real-time issues in stores by providing immediate solutions during visits, and conducts scheduled visits to all assigned stores for food safe-quality assurance monitoring. The specialist also conducts trouble-shooting seminars, acts as a central contact for food service category questions, and collaborates with Category Managers, BU leadership, store leadership, Food Service vendors, and merchant experts to develop effective training materials. Key responsibilities include coaching under-performing stores, partnering with District Managers, and overseeing new food service projects.
