The Field Food Specialist at Circle K is responsible for ensuring food safety and quality assurance across assigned stores. This role involves supervising training for store teams on current and new product offerings, with a strong emphasis on FSQA and HACCP regulatory compliance. Key duties include overseeing new store start-ups and remodels for Foodservice, addressing real-time issues in stores with immediate solutions, and conducting regular visits to monitor food safety and quality. The specialist will also lead troubleshooting seminars, act as a central contact for food service inquiries, and collaborate with Category Managers, leadership, vendors, and merchant experts to develop effective training materials and maximize the growth of the Foodservice category. The position requires coaching under-performing stores, partnering with District Managers, overseeing new food service projects, and maintaining a database of training sessions and visits. The specialist will also assess store cleanliness, review equipment, monitor temperatures, evaluate inventory, and complete detailed reports.
