About The Position

A Field Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing day to day field task that will help with our internal documentation.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years documented work in the commercial or industrial electrical fields
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction practices
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders
  • NEC /Code Compliance knowledge is a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Developing detailed project plans with field leaders, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all project activities align with established goals and timelines.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate project records, Including daily logs, daily work plans, Progress reports (QTYS) from Field team and As-Built drawings.
  • Time entry: team member can support with accurate time entry of hours and QTY’s per task/activity/ Building/Phase ETC.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards through regular inspections and testing. FE will work closely with our Onsite QA/QC Manager to support with deliverables/ documentation.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Scope Review: Understanding of our scope of work and responsible subcontractors SOW.
  • Logging our Field Daily Reports at the end of each shift
  • Cross Training With our PE team
  • Development of weekly Progress report Percent Completes
