About The Position

The Field Developer Engineer will support the delivery, customization, and expansion of Polarity capabilities within a forward-deployed US Air Force (USAF) environment. This position will be responsible for building and modifying Polarity integrations, developing automation workflows, and enabling mission users to leverage Polarity at an operational scale across multiple enclaves. The role requires on-site presence at the customer facility in San Antonio, Texas, and will serve as the technical lead for identifying data sources, system behaviors, and integration points needed to deliver net-new capability on the platform. The Field Developer Engineer will interface directly with mission stakeholders to translate operational requirements into actionable engineering tasks, deliver technical outcomes, and support ongoing capability sustainment and expansion. Requirements

  • Active TS or TS/SCI or obtainable clearance, and experience working in classified settings
  • Strong software engineering skills with emphasis on JavaScript / JSON
  • Experience working with APIs, automation workflows, and integration frameworks
  • Ability to translate ambiguous mission requirements into engineering deliverables
  • Ability to conduct user discovery interviews and extract technical requirements
  • Familiarity with US government environments involving multiple enclaves or restricted networks

Responsibilities

  • Build new Polarity integrations and automation capabilities for mission-critical cyberworkflows
  • Work directly with operations teams, engineers, and government program leadership
  • Identify data sources, tools, and systems that Polarity should connect to
  • Design, modify, and deploy Polarity integration, plug-ins, and automation workflows
  • Support continuous mission requirements as technology, hardware, and operational contexts change
  • Shape how Polarity is operationalized at scale within the USAF cyber ecosystem
  • Serve as the technical bridge between Polarity corporate engineering and mission execution teams
