About The Position

We are seeking a Field Coordinator, System Turnovers to join our team supporting the Uranium Processing Facility! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Responsibilities Perform walkdowns. Perform technical inspections and utilize testing knowledge to coordinate system turnover. Develop firm understanding of system, area scoping, and drawings required for package development. Perform data entry as well as quantity verification and validation. Verify systems and update information. Coordinate with action holders. Review and approve systems. Interface between construction and startup teams. Drive system completion schedules. Lead meetings. Act as point of contact for Construction for System Verification. Coordinate with Construction, Startup, Completions and Design Engineering to complete verification write-ups and ensure all system components are accounted for. Prepare verification discussions for each startup turnover system and inputs to SVM / VMA database. Track closure of Construction items that are incomplete but required for verification completion. Report daily progress on verification completions to supervision. Analyze system readiness and manage punch list items. Coordinate reviews of subcontractor submittals. Requirements Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; or 9+years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work. Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed. Must have experience supporting field and construction coordination. Must have experience with construction records and systems. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, requiring little supervision, and able to work well in a team environment. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. About the Site The Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) is a construction project at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee that is intended to modernize and replace aging facilities for uranium operations. Once complete, UPF will support the nation's nuclear weapons stockpile, naval reactors, and defense nuclear nonproliferation while ensuring the long-term safety, security, and viability of enriched uranium capabilities in the United States.
