About The Position

The Watchman Clinical Specialist I, will promote and support the Watchman product line by educating current and potential customers within a defined territory. This role combines clinical education, field-based procedural support, and strategic collaboration to help achieve or exceed sales goals and drive market growth. The Clinical Specialist works closely with a cross-functional team to expand awareness and adoption of Watchman technology in the field of Structural Heart. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong clinical judgment, a sense of urgency in dynamic environments, and the ability to build trusted relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and internal partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (BA/BS).
  • Experience in hospital-based environments, especially within Cardiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab, or Structural Heart procedures.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to explain complex product concepts confidently.
  • Availability for rotational 24/7/365 on-call duties.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and complete a comprehensive technical training program.
  • Proven clinical presence and ability to interact with physicians and multidisciplinary hospital teams.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills, with the ability to navigate urgent or rapidly changing clinical needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in Structural Heart, Atrial Fibrillation, or Electrophysiology.
  • Master's degree in business, life sciences, or healthcare-related field.
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience supporting cases involving TEE, ICE, fluoroscopy, device sizing, and implant techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-lab clinical s upport during Watchman procedures, understanding the nuances of each physician and workflow.
  • Educate customers on proper product use through presentations, case reviews, and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Meet with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs, demonstrate product value, and support training initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with key referring physicians, cardiologists, EP specialists, fellows, and cath lab leadership to promote growth.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure issue resolution and exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and managers to align field efforts and support regional strategic objectives.
  • Provide on-call support as required, including after-hours clinical case coverage.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with clinical protocols, trial requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver clear and confident presentations to diverse audiences, adapting communications to physicians, staff, and administrative levels.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency, prioritizing high-value cases, physician needs, and time-sensitive clinical requests.
  • Document case details, observations, and product performance accurately and on time.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in the procedural environment.
