About The Position

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Field Application Specialist to cover the US based ideally out of the Northeast. The Field Application Specialist will report to the National Manager and is responsible for supporting the field technical needs of the existing Advanced Waterproofing product line portfolio across the Henry Commercial BES business. The position is also focused on supporting the successful application of products through mobilization, maintenance, and training of customer base with the use of the company fleet of polyurea equipment. This position operates within a highly recognized product environment and will partner with sales leadership, sales support, technical department and marketing to achieve sales and technical objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain plural‑component spray equipment (e.g., polyurea proportioners) including pumps, hoses, spray guns, heaters, generators, and compressors.
  • Support field applications of polyurea, polyurethane, and protective coatings according to manufacturer specifications, internal quality standards, and project requirements.
  • Monitor temperature, humidity, pressure, and material ratios to ensure consistent spray quality and compliance with product data sheets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following proper containment, ventilation, and overspray control practices.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, including cleaning spray guns, checking filters, inspecting lines, and identifying equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with customer project managers, field supervisors, and installers to ensure work is completed on schedule and according to standards.
  • Document completed work, including material usage, surface prep details, environmental readings, and inspection results.
  • Operate forklifts, lifts, or other shop equipment when necessary (if applicable to your environment).
  • Travel to field job sites for on‑site coating work when required (if applicable).
  • Proactively develop new business through technical project support and product trainings, particularly those whose segment focus aligns with the specific product
  • Work collaboratively with entire sales and technical team to ensure product applications are effectively
  • Help manage the Advanced Waterproofing equipment programs internally as well as externally with our equipment distributor partners and customer base.
