About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Field Account Manager to join our bioprocess business in the Philadelphia Metro Area. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by proactively selling our full bioprocess portfolio, managing mid-size and large accounts, and building strong, long-term customer relationships. You’ll be at the forefront of our sales strategy, leveraging our CRM system (SFDC) to manage leads, track opportunities, and ensure seamless customer interactions. Your efforts will directly contribute to both your success and the success of Sartorius.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or engineering (advanced education a plus).
  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience in biotech or life sciences.
  • Hands-on CRM expertise: Proactive use of SFDC and other CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented: Able to work independently with accountability.
  • Team player: Proven ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Promote products and services: Drive sales across assigned accounts and territories to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities: Align with organizational growth strategies to expand market presence.
  • Leverage SFDC CRM: Document leads, track opportunities, and analyze customer data for insights and performance.
  • Launch innovative products: Introduce new solutions to the market and ensure successful adoption.
  • Assess customer needs: Generate leads, respond to inquiries, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Develop account plans: Coordinate resources and strategies to maximize account potential.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing and internal teams to strengthen market perception.
  • Build long-term relationships: Establish trust and partnerships that drive sustained success.
