Field Account Manager (National Accounts) - Pacific Northwest

This pivotal full-time role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with approximately 200 stores in your designated region, ensuring successful promotion and sales of Nulo products aimed to position Nulo as a leader in the premium pet food industry.
Requirements
- Previous experience in field account management or a related role.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with store teams.
- A passion for dogs and cats.
- The drive to deliver results paired with a continuous sense of urgency.
- An ability to relate to our active lifestyle positioning and our ‘food as fuel’ philosophy.
- Availability to work standard schedule from Monday to Friday, and occasionally on weekends
- Remote field-based position with majority of time spent on site in retail locations
Responsibilities
- Retailer Engagement:
- Conduct quarterly visits to each unique store, fostering a consistent and positive presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store employees through regular in-store visits.
- Provide in-depth education sessions for store employees, emphasizing the benefits and features of Nulo nutrition products.
- Promote and drive participation in the retailer employee discount feeding program.
- Attend district-level store leader meetings to stay informed about regional initiatives.
- Collaborate with store and district leaders on strategies to optimize sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Merchandising Excellence:
- Ensure strategic placement of promotional materials such as flyers and magnets in break areas to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Implement merchandising strategies, including limiting Out of Stock (OOS), facing products, and validating Planogram (POG) and Incremental Display placements.
- Product Expertise:
- Deliver comprehensive information on the basal nutrition of Nulo products.
- Highlight key features and benefits to store teams during visits.
- Stay updated on innovations in pet nutrition.
