Fiberglass Technician
About The Position
As a Fiberglass Technician, your duties and responsibilities will include: Interpreting blueprints or other design documents to set specifications for fiberglass products Preparing and cutting fiberglass materials based on those specifications Mixing resins and hardeners to create a compound suitable for molding Applying layers of fiberglass onto molds, and using brushes or air guns to smooth out surfaces Operating machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, laminating, and pressing fiberglass materials Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring quality standards are met Repairing, replacing, or modifying fiberglass components as necessary Maintaining safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Documenting the process, materials used, and any issues encountered for reference in future projects or for quality control purposes
