About The Position

The Fence Installer is responsible for performing labor and tasks necessary for the installation of chain link, wood, ornamental and vinyl fences. This individual assists other Installers and Crew Foreman with the transformation of design plans into quality fences meeting or exceeding our customer expectations.

Requirements

Previous experience with or ability to learn effective Installation skills and techniques.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
A valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating equipment (loader, bobcat, skid steer, or other used in landscape installation) is helpful but not required.
Knowledge of fence material is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily preparation of trucks and equipment, ensuring proper loading and securing of materials.
Perform all aspects of fence installation, including removal of old fencing, ground preparation, trench digging, concrete mixing, and positioning fence elements.
Safely operate air pounders, post hole diggers, saws, and other hand tools required for fence installation.
May operate a company vehicle to and from job sites as needed.
Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, coworkers, and sales staff.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to optimize service and productivity.
Effectively communicate with coworkers, customers, delivery drivers, and sales staff to ensure smooth operations.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures while working in a safe and responsible manner.
Assist with snow removal during the winter months as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
