About The Position

Summary Statement: The Female Spa Attendant will provide uncompromising levels of guest service while orienting guests to spa facilities and providing a personalized touch. This role is also responsible for ensuring the lounge, locker room and other guest areas are neat and sanitized. Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to: Welcome and interact with guests as they call, enter, and exit the facility. Provide a luxury experience while engaging in conversations with guests and team members. Ensure the lounges, communal spa area and relaxation lounges are neat, clean, and well stocked. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features, and amenities. Issue spa lockers, robes and slippers to guests and provide guest orientation. Provide a guest tour explaining spa amenities offered, ensuring guests are comfortable and have everything needed to enjoy their stay. Review guest appointments/schedules and provide guests with reminders of their services times. Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as any promotions and/or discounts available. Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all guest requests. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Attend and participate in support training and staff meetings. Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to: Interact with all guests in a luxury setting, using elegant language and behavior., Ability to multi-task, to ensure guest service while also attending to the stocking and cleanliness of the spa. Ability to work an active shift, the majority of which is spent standing and walking. Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and organization of the spa at all times. Knowledge of spa services and amenities to assist with any guest questions or requests. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures. Preferred: Experience working in a Spa or Salon. Working knowledge of spa booking system(s). Working knowledge of Opera and/or HotSOS. Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting. Minimum Education and Experience: At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of six months of customer service experience. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Ability to obtain the following: Food Handling Card Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
