About The Position

The University of Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM), seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Fellowship Coordinator I to join our education team. This position supports the planning and execution of the educational mission across the fellowship programs, and along with the Fellowship Coordinator II, this plays a critical role in maintaining program compliance, supporting fellows and faculty, and managing recruitment, onboarding, and graduation efforts. The UF Department of Emergency Medicine proudly maintains an affiliation with UF Health Shands Hospital, a distinguished 1,162-bed teaching facility renowned for its Level 1 trauma center and cutting-edge burn center. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Fellowship Administration Serve as Fellowship Coordinator per ACGME guidelines.
  • Support daily operations of fellowship programs in collaboration with Program Directors and education leadership.
  • Manage fellow schedules, evaluations, duty hours, procedure logs, and graduation requirements.
  • Maintain New Innovations and ensure accurate, timely data entry.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for PEC, CCC, and ACGME site visits.
  • Coordinate fellow onboarding, interviews, external rotations, and graduation activities.
  • Human Resources Coordinate fellowship recruitment, interviews, and NRMP match processes.
  • Manage onboarding, credentialing, and hiring documentation for incoming fellows.
  • Maintain recruitment databases and fellowship program materials.
  • Compliance Monitor and support compliance with ACGME and GME accreditation requirements.
  • Assist with ADS updates, surveys, and accreditation reviews.
  • General Administrative Duties Support fellowship budgets and program spending.
  • Assist with reporting, data requests, and general departmental administrative needs.
