About The Position

Job Details: This position pays $18.00/hr with a $1.00 shift increase for the 2nd Shift. No bonus. Typical schedule is Sunday-Thursday 4pm-12am Some weekends/holidays are expected depending on company needs. Job Description 1.Must have the ability to Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed 2. Must help and assist with unloading ingredients from rail cars/trucks 3. Must have the ability to clean up feed spills 4. Must have the ability to perform ground keeping duties including using landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers. 5. Must have the ability to use and maintain air-driver equipment like blow guns to assist in cleaning activities 6. Must have the ability to use high pressure water hoses to wash down and clean areas of the feed mill 7. Must have the ability to use PIT to move pallets of ingredients, etc. 8. Must wear required proper PPE such as ear protection, safety vest, etc. 9. Must be Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. 10. Must be willing to be confined space certified and LOTO certified 11. Must have the ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling 12. Must have the ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures 13. Must be able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species 14. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas 15. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required 16. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols 17. Must be able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance 18. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. 19. Must have the ability to read and complete sign off sheet paperwork 20. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. Must be able to pass forklift certification training. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must pass a background check. Abide by company biosecurity guidelines including an agreement to avoid owning and being around any avian species. Requirements. Must have at least 6 months operator experience with various types of power industrial vehicles. 181 days wait period from last termination date. 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before).
