About The Position

Primary Function: Responsible for providing general clerical and accounting support for production operations at the Feed Mill.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year clerical experience in manufacturing setting
  • Proficient computer and math skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good Attendance
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of the time utilizing office equipment and computers
  • Must be able to walk up steps when needed

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with accounting personnel in the Lavonia, GA office to verify and balance inventories
  • File, make copies, tract hourly employees as stated in the company Attendance Policy and provide that information to the HR/Safety Manager.
  • Complete payroll worksheets - and be confidential with information
  • Order and tract all incoming ingredients to meet production needs.
  • Maintain organized files for all documentation required by Government and Company.
  • Enter and verify incoming packages against packing slips utilizing Office D365.
  • Maintain ingredient and non-ingredient SDS sheets/books.
  • Comply with all company policies, FSMA regulations, Local, State and Federal Laws and regulations
  • Perform rail car tracking/placement/releasing via CSX Website
  • Organize and ship samples to company lab
  • Ability to become scale certified per regulatory requirements
  • Ability to fill in at other positions as needed throughout the feed mill once trained
