About The Position

The purpose of this position is to perform basic functions to insure efficient
daily operations of the Feed Mill.

Key Responsibilities

Mixing and loading poultry feed for delivery to multiple farm locations
Apply knowledge of SQF and Safe Food/Safe Feed practices during all mill
activities
Receiving and maintenance of ingredient inventories
Preventative maintenance and repair of mill and related equipment
Maintaining a clean safe Mill environment
Provide back-up support to Mill Manager as required
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills with a teamwork attitude are essential.
• Self-motivation with a drive for safe quality feed is required.
• Computer skills, Word, Excel required.
• Mathematical ability is required.

Nice To Haves

• Agricultural experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in a feed mill is preferred.
• Training in preventative maintenance programs, mechanical and electrical systems desirable.
• Knowledge of production agriculture desirable.
