About The Position
Premier Cooperative is hiring a Feed Manufacturing team member to support calf feed production in our new feed manufacturing facility equipped with an autobagger. This position offers daytime hours, modern equipment, and a stable work environment focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable, safety‑minded, and team‑oriented
- Basic computer skills helpful; training provided
Nice To Haves
- Agriculture, livestock, or feed manufacturing experience preferred (but not required)
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and mix calf feed according to established formulas and quality standards
- Operate feed mill equipment, including automated bagging (autobagger) systems
- Monitor production flow to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
- Receive ingredients and supplies and assist with inventory handling
- Load, bag, and stage feed for delivery or customer pickup
- Perform routine housekeeping and basic maintenance in the mill
- Follow all safety, OSHA, DATCP, and company compliance requirements
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production schedules
