The feed truck driver will transport, weigh and deliver finished feed daily to cattle. Duties/Responsibilities: Operates a bulk feed truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws. Transports loads safely and on time within the feedlot, following all yard policies and observing all safety regulations. Precisely maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals. Assists with loading and unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; returns all equipment to designated area. Maintains daily logs through an Electronic Log Book, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to the transportation office or other appropriate staff when the circulation route is complete. Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, fuel, and air; fills out maintenance request forms and reports maintenance malfunctions to supervisor Keeps cabin clean and free of litter; washes and fuels truck at the end of his/her shift.
