About The Position
As the Feed Lab Manager at Pipestone Nutrition, you’ll lead ingredient and feed testing using advanced lab equipment. Your work ensures accurate data for diet formulation and ingredient decisions—keeping our nutrition program at the highest standard.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; B.S. in Animal or Biological Sciences preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical tests on ingredients and finished feeds
- Manage and maintain NIR equipment and lab operations
- Calibrate equipment and ensure data integrity
- Implement and monitor lab procedures and compliance
- Enter data into QA database and report results to nutritionists
- Maintain a clean, organized lab and assist with special projects
