About The Position

The Federal Work Study program provides need-based employment for college students. Work study available on campus and are awarded based on financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Hours/Days: Mondays: 11:30am - 5:00pm Tues - anytime (flexible) Wednesdays: 11:30am - 5:00pm Thurs - anytime (flexible) Fridays: 8am-12pm

Requirements

• Student must meet Federal Work Study eligibility requirements to apply as well as any academic department requirements.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to handle confidential information with absolute discretion

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of Military Culture and Rank Structure preferred

Responsibilities

• Answering telephones, taking messages and returning calls
• Filing and photocopying
• Helping students with paperwork
• Preparing classrooms for upcoming classes
• Providing assistance to students and the coordinators
• Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned in support of the College's mission, core values and goals
