About The Position

As a Project Manager working primarily on Federal and Department of War projects, you’ll put your leadership and project management skills into practice as part of our software implementation and technology services team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on managing key projects to develop project plans; monitor project progress; coordinate with stakeholders; and deliver software applications, training and documentation deliverables to clients. You will be expected to manage the scope, cost, and schedule to successfully execute contract deliverables for our clients while meeting all Juvare business and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years technology project management required
  • 3+ years in client facing project management roles required
  • Active Public Trust Security Clearance (or higher), or be able to pass a PTSC background check
  • Client project experience in Federal or DoD agencies
  • Experience with FedRAMP and IL5 ATOs
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Firm grasp of project financial management and executive-level reporting
  • Keenly adapt at clarifying, documenting, and facilitating the resolution of issues and conflicts
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage project risks, including risk mitigation and contingency planning
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of time to client or internal company sites

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or similar project management certifications a plus; if hired, will be required to achieve PMP within 12 months of hire date
  • Situational Leadership skills preferred
  • Superior ability to handle stress and prioritize competing priorities and changing deadlines
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with NetSuite a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact and advisor to multiple clients for software implementations and enhancement projects ranging from two weeks to continual
  • Manage scope, budget and go-lives, anticipating problems and complications, and facilitating mutually agreed solutions that preserve the schedule and budget
  • Identify and proactively document execution, client, and resource risks, while defining and managing mitigation and avoidance plans
  • Take accountability for bringing all project issues, conflicts, and decisions to successful closure while maximizing positive client impact
  • Interact regularly with clients, managing expectations and communicating progress
  • Own financial responsibility for the project, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting resource costs and ensuring project performance is reflected accurately in revenue recognition
  • Partner with delivery leaders to manage resource load across the team, matching skill sets to client needs and ensuring teams have adequate skill sets to run autonomously
  • Work closely with the Client Success and Sales team to ensure growth and retention of client accounts, while managing scope of current implementations
  • Assist the Sales and Client Success team with responses to Requests for Proposal and scoping new professional services work
  • Partner with Product Engineering team on integrations and enhancements necessary to deliver scope of work
  • Other duties as assigned
