About The Position

We are seeking a senior leader to drive growth and delivery excellence for cybersecurity programs across federal health agencies. This role combines strategic capture leadership with delivery oversight for complex cyber engagements. The ideal candidate brings deep cybersecurity expertise, proven experience with federal health clients, and strong industry relationships to form winning teams. What You Will Do: Growth Leadership Own the federal health cyber growth strategy – prioritize pipeline, shape pursuits, and align offerings to agency cyber priorities. Lead capture from early shaping through proposal and orals – develop win themes, competitive analysis, and teaming strategies. Navigate federal acquisition – leverage deep understanding of FAR, agency-specific procurement practices, and vehicles such as T4NG, CIO-SP3, and GSA MAS. Build teaming ecosystems – recruit SDVOSB/VOSB partners, OEMs, and niche cyber firms to deliver integrated solutions. Engage in thought leadership – represent Guidehouse in industry forums and cyber communities. Delivery Leadership Oversee delivery of cybersecurity programs – ensure compliance, risk management, and measurable outcomes. Drive operational excellence – enforce governance, quality standards, and performance metrics across engagements. Mentor and grow cyber talent – support onboarding, training, and career development for technical and delivery teams. Client Engagement Build trusted relationships with federal health CIOs, CISOs, and program managers – maintain active call plans and stakeholder maps. Serve as senior escalation point – resolve issues quickly and maintain delivery momentum. Communicate clearly – provide concise updates to leadership and clients.

Requirements

  • Federal health experience – proven track record supporting agencies like VA, CMS, or DHA.
  • Minimum of TEN (10) years of prior relevant consulting experience
  • Deep cybersecurity experience – program leadership in areas such as cyber operations, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
  • Capture leadership – shaping opportunities, leading proposals, and winning orals for cyber programs.
  • Industry relationships – ability to form effective teaming arrangements with SDVOSBs, OEMs, and cyber solution providers.
  • Delivery oversight – experience managing multi-million-dollar cyber portfolios with measurable results.
  • Prior leadership roles in federal health.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with zero trust architecture, cloud security, and DevSecOps in federal environments.
  • Certifications preferred – CISSP, PMP, or equivalent.
