About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and talented Classification Specialist will be responsible for performing a full range of technical and administrative human resources management services relating to classification. Responsibilities: The Classification Specialist shall perform duties in order to produce the following outcome: Position Descriptions for review Factor Evaluation Sheets Decision Documents for review Memorandums Evaluating and classifying positions in the General Schedule (Client) and Wage Grade (WG) Updating and writing position descriptions for review Conducting position reviews Providing guidance and assistance to supervisors and managers concerning major realignments of work Planning, initiating, developing, and conducting classification studies through research Drafting decision documents and memorandums for final review Evaluating statements and recommendations on sensitive issues

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience working as an HR Specialist.
  • Experience using HR systems such as PeopleSoft (HR Connect) and USA Staffing is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
